July 13th, 2010 ~ Some Upcoming Changes

Over the next few days or weeks, depending on the amount of time I am able to devote to this project, I'll be reworking some things with this site. I'm sure most of you who have used the site recently have seen that it's really slow to load and not all portions of the site are available.

I am hoping to get the majority of the site back online and in working order, all while reducing load times and removing unused portions of the site from the system. I've personally been really busy over the last few months with work and a lot of other things, so I just haven't had the time to devote to this site as I'd like.

The changes should start showing up pretty soon too! The site news updates on the home page will be completely different. As the changes occur, I'll be sure to notify you of them.

December 6th, 2009 ~ A New Look

It has taken me quite a while to get everything online the way I would like for it to be, and there is still a few more things awaiting upload. Some of these are pictures and some music files, etc. I hope to have those online as soon as possible.

With the majority of the site being online again, but the site appearance being outdated just a little bit, I decided that I would find a new theme to put on it by default. If you prefer the old theme, you can still access it through your profile. I really hope you all enjoy the new skin as much as I do.

It appears that since I've been slacking in keeping this site updated, it is quite a bit outdated, so I'll also be working on adding all the new pages that I need to since returning to online life. I have a ton of pictures to add and lots of new content as well.

August 21st, 2009 ~ Site Back Online For Good

Seven months ago, this site went offline and hasn't been back online since. This was due to many things beyond my control and I'm sorry about having to take the site down. I have personally been back online for a couple of months, but it has taken me a while to get this site back up and running, due to the size of the site. There's still a few bugs I'm working out as you can probably see by the images on the site currently, but these will work out over time.

I'm sure you've noticed by now too that the site has a new URL. This is because I have invested in a webserver that isn't my computer. Before the site was hosted off of my computer and when I was offline, so was the site. This will no longer be the case as the site is no longer hosted on my computer.

Sorry for having been down so long, but this time, I'm proud to say that it's here to stay.

January 22nd, 2009 ~ More Site Downtime

Well, I didn't think this day would come again so soon, but I'm at yet another part of my life where I have to go offline for an unknown amount of time. Since I'm too lazy to type it all out again, I'll just quote what I posted on Pl0x's forums. For those of you that don't know, Pl0x is my mIRC RuneScape stats bot that I built.

Quoted from Pl0x Forums:

"Recently, irl, I have had my privacy invaded by my stepfather. He went onto my computer to find anything he possibly could to get me kicked out or at the very least kicked offline. If you look hard enough for something, eventually you'll probably find it. So later today (about 2 hrs from now) I'll have to disconnect from the internet and take down my home network. The computer will be moved to a location I'm not yet sure of.

However, I've also told them that if the computer goes somewhere else, so do I. I cannot practice my programming skills if I'm not on my computer, so seperating me from it doesn't help me to forward my career any. In fact, it actually hurts it. It's been my experience with computers that if you dont use the skills you learn, you lose it. And so that is why I've decided to be moved along with my computer.

I do apologize for the inconvinience caused by this, but for now this is the way things are. I'll have Pl0x and the site back online as soon as possible. So until then, so long, and thanks again everyone for your patience and for using Pl0x."

And with that, I tell ya goodbye, again. I'll be back as soon as possible.

October 31st, 2008 ~ Happy Halloween!

It has been a while since there has been an update posted here on the site, so I figured I would personally take this oportunity to wish everyone that visits this site a Happy and Safe Halloween! I hope you enjoy the holiday events in both RuneScape and FunOrb.

In some other news, I bet you can tell I've stopped posting the RuneScape updates to the site. I don't really think you will mind me not doing that, as it's just posted on the homepage of the game itself anyways. If you don't read it there, why would you here?

March 11th, 2008 ~ Majy's 4 yr bday

On this day 4 years ago, I created the account known as Majinvegito3 in RuneScape and I've been playing ever since. Unfortunately, I was unable to be online the day my character became 4 years old, but I figured I'd at least announce it so everyone would know.

Also, on this day 2 years ago, I maxed out all melee stats in one battle (Strength, Attack, then Defence). It really doesn't feel like I've been playing as long as I have because it's been a ton of fun to become what I am, both in the game and outside of the game. I'm looking forward to many more years and adventures with all of my friends. Thanks for the good times and all the memories and may there be many, many more.

January 8th, 2008 ~ Site Back Online!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....even though I'm a few days late lol...

Well, as I am sure most of you know, this site has been unavailable for quite some time. However, it is now up and running again as I am back at college and able to be online full time again. I personally am sorry for the time the site was down, but it was something that could not be helped. In my forum blogs, I have explained some of the things that happened to me, so feel free to give them a read to understand the situation I was in.

Because of my offline time, I have not been able to post up the RuneScape updates. There has been so many of those since I left, I'll just start from where they are now instead of trying to post almost 3 months worth of updates into the site.

I hope the new URL also works well once everyone gets used to it a bit. I lost my old domain name, so I just have recently registered this new one of 'majy.servegame.org' to my account. It's good to be back. Hopefully I'll see some new faces around here this time. Enjoy!

September 29, 2007 ~ One Year Birthday

This site was founded just over a year ago today. Since we dont have very many people that visit here yet, there was no planned events or anything to celebrate the site becoming one year old.

I would however like to thank all of you that do continue to stop by and those that do register on the site and post on the forums. The year has been a strange one for me personally, but it has also been a relatively good one, especially the last 3 weeks of it.

Hopefully, the content on the site doesnt bore you and, believe me, soon as I can figure out how to do the things I want to on here, there's lots more content to be added. I hope in some way you find this site informative and helpful in your adventures in RuneScape. Remember though that it is just a game and, as always, just have fun and meet new friends from all over the world!

Lets make the next year of this site an even better one than this last one was. Thanks to all the staff people here (most of which are focued around the forums). I couldn't do this without you all.

August 8, 2007 ~ Forums Publically Released

After setting up my SwiftIRC channel, I figured it was time to publically release the forums. There is nothing new about them other than the unregistered users that visit the site can now view the forums instead of getting the error that they do not have permission to access this portion of the site.

Still, you will need to register on the site to be able to post replies and start new topics on the site. Since the forums also contain my personal blog, many people can now read it as I originally intended.

Hope you enjoy this minor site update.

May 3, 2007 ~ Site/Server Downtime

Later today, I'll be moving back home for the summer. During the move, this site, of course, will not be online. Sorry for the downtime, but as long as things go according to plan, I should have everything working again within 4 to 6 hours after the downtime begins.

Once everything is back up, I'll post the most recent of the RS updates as well as update the end of April pics and add some May pics (hopefully). Be good and don't miss me too much
